With easy to navigate sections that touch on a variety of subjects from foundational concepts to complex issues to practical resources, Visible Justice is a handbook providing productive and accessible tools for LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, questioning and other queer identities) inclusion.

Drawing from the argument that being inclusive means more than simply being pro-LGBTQ+, this broad introductory guide explores methods for supporting LGBTQ+ people through interpersonal, ideological and institutional practices that all assume the existence and value of all LGBTQ+ people and identities.

Based on the LGBTBQ+ Inclusivity Training and Workshops developed by Salford City Council’s Youth Service, 42nd Street and CAMHS, this handbook seeks to offer material that can benefit any professional in the UK, especially those with little to no experience with the LGBTQ+ community, working with LGBTQ+ clients, colleagues, students or service users of all ages.

We do also offer a training around LGBTQ+ inclusivity and supporting the wellbeing of LGBTQ+ young people which includes this handbook. If you’d like information about either our Foundations or In-Depth training sessions please contact theteam@42ndstreet.org.uk

Proceeds from sales go towards supporting LGBTQ+ young people across Greater Manchester
